Chicken Picante

Here is a great (and quick) firehouse BBQ recipe for the summer. This has always been a go to dinner that leaves everyone at the table full and happy.

Ingredients List (4 People)
  • 2 Full Boneless Chicken Breast (4 half breasts)
  • Grated Cheese
  • Large jar of Pace Picante Salsa
  • Sliced Black Olives
  • Medium Red Onion
  • Cilantro
  • Foil
Cooking Instructions

Preheat Barbecue on Medium Heat.

Build the Packets

Separate 4 pieces of foil approximately 24 inches long and lay them on the counter or table. Place a half of a chicken breast on each individual piece of foil.  Top the chicken with sliced red onion and sliced black olives.  Next, Add approximately 5 tablespoons of Salsa to each packet. Add the grated cheese. Finish with cilantro on top.

Fold sides of foil packet to center and then twist the ends to seal the foil packet.

Place on the Barbecue at medium heat for approximately 25 - 30 minutes.
